BIO (ENGLISH)

José Rosinhas
Born in Porto, Portugal, November 30th 1972.
Studied Painting at Faculty of Fine Arts of Oporto University, from 1993 through 1998.
Postgraduate in Management of Cultural Heritage by School of Arts of Portuguese Catholic University.

Participated in several group and solo exhibitions, and is represented in national and international collections, such as: National Association of Young Entrepreneurs (Oporto), Luciano Benetton Foundation, Luís Araújo Foundation (Oporto), Lanchester Gallery (UK), Masc Foundation, Vienna/Austria, MAK - Austrian Museum of Applied Arts/Contemporary Art, Vienna/ Austria, Faculty of Fine Arts of the Oporto University, among others.

Was awarded in the III Competition for Young in Fine Arts - Francisco Wandschneider (3rd Prize ex aequo, granted by BCP).
